History of DGAEPC

The German Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery was founded in 1972 as the first association for Aesthetic Surgery in Germany.

At that time, a society specializing in either Plastic or Aesthetic Surgery existed in Germany, so a group of surgeons from different fields with a common interest in Aesthetic Surgery, united to found the society.  Their objective was to discuss their knowledge and experiences, share and teach their techniques and to develop new methods.

Today, we are a select group of independent Plastic Surgeons in Aesthetic Surgery sharing our techniques and methods and discussing complicated cases.  We are a group of friends, knowing each other not only from professional events but also in private settings.  We share the same values, and we select our members by quality, experience and expertise.
