Speaker Agreement

INFORMATION FOR SPEAKER

Conditions:
Travel or accommodation expenses for speakers cannot be covered.

The registration fee must be paid in full, unless the speaker is a member of the DGÄPC. Speakers are not automatically registered for the congress. We would ask you therefore to register for the annual meeting online via the congress website.

Cancellation:
If you are unable to attend on the day of your lecture, we would ask you to contact the congress president and, if possible, to organize a suitable deputy.

Conflict of interest:
To ensure transparency in relation to possible conflicts of interest           in connection with lecturing activities, please disclose all economic relationships (especially when presenting studies sponsored by a company or other financial contributions from companies to products or methods in the lecture, consulting activities or lecturing for a fee, etc.) in connection with your lecture at the beginning of your presentation.

Abstract submission:
We will inform you by e-mail about the acceptance / rejection of your abstract after completion of the sessions.

Speaking Time:
Please pay attention to the length of your presentation (maximum 8 minutes) and please do not exceed your allotted time. Thank you for your understanding – we need to make sure that all speakers have the same amount of time.

 To ensure that everything runs smoothly, all speakers within a session are asked to arrive at the stage at the beginning of the session and take your seats in the seating area, where you will be called in turn (this saves time during transitions!). After your presentations, please return to your seat for the concluding joint discussion.

Discussion:
The discussion is an open forum for all attendees to speak and ask questions. Every participant will be requested to introduce themselves with their name and nationality. Microphones will be located in the aisles for this purpose.

Image Projection:
The use of personal laptops is not permitted and must be agreed in advance with boeld communication if required.

Presentations on USB sticks must be submitted and checked at the Mediacheck at least 1 hour before the start of the session.

Deletion of the file after the presentation is guaranteed.
